What is recorded here

Fairy forts are not for entry. They are not for taking stones or breaking soil. They are for seeing from a distance and leaving alone. The claimant may be human or may be fair. Either way, the place is occupied. A fort is a boundary. A cache is a gift. A chamber is a room. A row is a queue. These are not mistakes. They are requests. But a fairy fort is different. It is a warning dressed like a toy. It is also a trap dressed like a gift. That is why people call them fairy forts. The name is not childish. The name is exact. Keep the distance. That is all it asks.
