What is recorded here

Mortons and Raruddy West still hide a circular cashel thirty-three and a half metres across, its stone wall drowned in grass but unchanged in shape. The eastern gap may have been the entrance, while a shadowed passage beneath the northern field may still breathe underground. People called it a fairy fort because human memory left the edge, not because the facts stopped.

In undulating grassland. Circular cashel (diam. 33.5m), in fair condition, defined by a grassed-over wall. Slight traces of a possible external fosse are visible at NW. A gap (Wth 4m) at ESE may be original. A possible Man-made underground passage (GA105-180001-) lies in the N sector of the interior.
