Fairy fort and stone ringfort in Parkbaun, County Galway, is a circular cashel about 21 metres wide on a hillock in undulating pastureland. Its drystone wall has collapsed and become grassed over from the northeast to the south and west, while a field wall cuts across it and no clear trace remains to the northwest. The place may have been a home, a boundary marker or a feeding ground for stories, but its shape still resists forgetting.
