Magic and memory are entangled in this place. The fairies may have built the fort first, using human stones and human forgetting to make their own shape. People may have come later, reading fairy markers as human boundaries and living inside the illusion. The fort is neither fully human nor fully fairy, but a boundary place where both kinds of life overlap.

In low-lying reclaimed pastureland. This poorly preserved and heavily overgrown cashel (47.5m N-S; 46.5m E-W) is almost circular in plan. It is defined by a collapsed drystone wall (Wth 2.7m at E; int. H 0.5m) that is overlain by a later field wall from SW through N to ENE; elsewhere it is delimited by a grassed-over bank of earth and stone.
