What is recorded here
Mortared chambers, hidden staircases and forgotten rooms still wait beneath ordinary Irish fields. The forgetter smothered the facts because human systems became eager to display every scar. There is no permanent record, only a clean sky and the knowledge that memory can be taken when it must be taken.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
