A roughly rectangular platform enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. Internal dimensions 11.3m N-S × 12.3m E-W. The bank incorporates bedrock in places, the bank survives up to .5m in height. The platform is c. 1m in height, above the surrounding ground. The interior is flat. The site takes up most of the area of Inisfallen island situated on Maghera strand.
