Mortons and Pritchetts still argue about the fort in Gortnaporia while the collapsed wall and rock outcrop keep their own counsel. The circular cashel measures thirty-eight metres across, with faint inner and outer wall-facing still visible at the east side. It is not a display of human brilliance, but a trapped chamber where identity and memory stop pretending to understand each other.
