Magic and mystery swirl around this forgotten Galway fortress. Shadows dance among ancient stones while hidden chambers await brave discovery. The land itself breathes life into forgotten walls, creating wonders mortal eyes barely comprehend.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved much-overgrown oval cashel (N-S 55m, E-W 40m) defined by a collapsed grassed-over drystone wall. A field wall cuts the monument at E and W. There is a funnel-shaped pile of collapsed stone (L 11m, Wth 10m), with a central depression, in S half of the interior.
