Nunnery (in ruins)

On a SE-facing slope in farmland. On 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map, a small house cluster is shown here and a small roofed rectangular building (c. 12m by c. 8m), its long axis running NW-SE, is labelled 'Nunnery (In Ruins)' Apparently removed by the time of 3rd ed. (1930) when the words 'Site of' are appended. No visible surface trace survives.
