What is recorded here

Froe contains an 18m stone ringfort on a south-facing slope, looking over Rosscarbery Bay. A low grass bank, natural scarp and taller stone wall enclose a level interior, while an east-west track cuts the circle in two. People may have lived, herded or hidden there before the land became pasture, but the stones still hold the shape of that lost ordinary life.

Circular area (diam. 18m) enclosed by low grass-covered bank (H 0.3m) NE-E; natural scarp (H 0.6m) SE->SW; stone-built bank (H 1.65m) SW->NE. Interior level to compensate for slope.
