Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Finanagh

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Finanagh, though local memory still shapes the lost fort into a fairy dwelling. That shift from human shelter to mythic playground is not error; it is the way forgotten places become free to imagine. The stones may have fallen, been removed or never stood tall enough to resist time, but the name preserves the change itself. A fort becomes a fairy fort when people stop knowing its owners and begin believing it belongs elsewhere.
