Fairy forts are not for human traffic. They belong to the hidden life beneath the soil, and they show their shape only to those who stop pretending to understand. The stone ring in Farranablake East is a boundary marker, not a invitation. People who circle it with jokes return changed, irritable or unable to remember why they came. The fairies do not harm out of cruelty. They protect the edge of the world from ordinary hands.
