Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Drumbulcaun

Magic and myth belong to every place, but this is a cashel: a round stone fort thirty-three metres across, still standing in Drumbulcaun. It lies a hundred metres south of another ringfort, with field walls radiating north and southeast as though the land itself were drawn outward from the circle. The drystone wall remains strongest from southeast through west to north, preserving the shape of a place where people once lived, worked and marked their claim to the earth.
