Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Doire Fhada Thiar

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

Doire Fhada Thiar holds a stone ringfort where local people once drew a bright line around the boundary of the known world. The stones may have marked a dwelling, a refuge or a warning, yet they still arrange themselves like a room built for someone absent. That is what makes the place alive: the wall does not explain itself, it waits to be answered.
