What is recorded here

Mature trees hold the sky above a narrow stone ring on the Limerick ridge. The fort is twenty-four metres across, enclosed by a bank still tall enough to mark the boundary between human effort and forest reclaim. Stones have fallen inward where the edge gave way, but the north-east face remains steep and deliberate. A person may have stood inside that circle, watching the land turn beneath the trees.

In deciduous forestry on ridge of high ground. Circular area (23.8m N-S; 23.4m E-W) enclosed by stone bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 1.2m). Bank best preserved with near vertical inner face NNE->SSE; partial collapse of bank SSE->NNE with loose stone falling inwards. Mature deciduous trees in interior.
