Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Corwillick is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Corwillick, County Sligo, Ireland. The site occupies a level terrace beside a large hill within a deciduous forest. A broad rubble limestone bank encloses a circular area twenty-six metres across, while a two-metre break at the south marks the original entrance. A rectangular platform built from rubble limestone sits inside the circle, with an underground passage preserved in its centre.
Situated on a level terrace on side of large hill, in deciduous forest. A steep S-facing E-W orientated slope breaks 10m to the S of the site. Raised circular area (diam. 26m) enclosed by a broad bank of rubble limestone (Wth 4.9m; int. H 0.3m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The bank has a regular profile and encloses the site on all sides. No facing is evident around the perimeter. A break (Wth 2m) in the bank at S marks the position of the original entrance. The interior has been built up on the E side with rubble limestone to form a roughly rectangular platform (dims. 11m N-S; 10m E-W) defined by a stone scarp (H 0.2m) that links to the interior side of the cashel bank NE-SE. The remains of a Man-made underground passage (SL015-087002-) are located in the centre of the platform.
