What is recorded here

That is the cashel in Cashlancran, an oval stone ringfort forty-one metres long and thirty metres wide. It stands in recently cleared pasture, its low wall barely eighty centimetres high and hidden beneath thick growth. The fort is not a polished monument or a complete palace. It is a broken local mark, partially erased by time and vegetation, yet still large enough to show that people shaped the land there.

In recently cleared pasture. Oval-shaped area (41m N-S; 30m E-W), enclosed by poor remains of stone wall (Wth 1.5m; H 0.8m), heavily overgrown.
