What is recorded here

No visible castle, no church tower, no grand house. A forgotten boundary marker, perhaps belonging to a lost family or a divided field. The stones may have marked ownership, excluded neighbours, or separated sacred ground from ordinary land. Men may have built it, remembered it as fairy work, and stopped asking questions because the shape still answered human fear.

On the S-facing slope of a hill in undulating pastureland. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (39m E-W; 33m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. Within the centre of the interior is a wide grassed-over stone wall (L 2m) aligned NE-SW; it may be an associated internal division.
