Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Carns (carbury By.) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carns (carbury By.), County Sligo, Ireland. It sits in dense hazel scrub on the southern downslope at the edge of a pasture field. Wood-Martin and Milligan mentioned a cashel there, but the thick overgrowth prevented them from locating it precisely.
In dense hazel scrub, on S downslope at edge of a field of pasture. A cashel is mentioned by Wood-Martin (1887-8, 121) and Milligan (1890-1, 577-8) but because of the dnese overgrowth it did not prove possible to locate it precisely. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 21 April 2011
