No visible trace remains in Cahernaglass, though local memory still shapes the hidden fort. That absence, rather than a broken wall, is what makes the place striking. The land may have worn the stones away or people may have built elsewhere and carried the name with them. Either way, the missing fort still occupies the landscape through storytelling.
