Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Cahermaculick,carrowmore (kilmaine By.,moorgagagh Par.) stands in recently cleared pasture, a roughly circular area 31m N-S and 35m E-W enclosed by peat-covered cashel wall remains 0.4m high. A possible man-made underground passage marks the SE edge, while clearance boulders scatter the interior and wall. The W side is bisected by a stone field fence, blending human boundary work with the older ring.

Clearance boulders in interior and on wall. W side bisected by stone field fence. The above description has been derived from D.
