Belmont holds a broken forty-metre stone ring where a field wall now crosses ancient draught. The hilltop enclosure staring down from the north suggests this was not a dull farm yard but a watched threshold. People may have built it to keep out rain, wolves or the unseen, yet the collapsed wall still draws the eye like a mouth waiting to speak.

On a S-facing slope in grassland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (D 40m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall, overlain by a field wall from SW through N to SE.
