Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Ballybrogan is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Ballybrogan, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures 38.4m NNW-SSE and 37.4m ENE-WSW towards the top of a S-facing slope. A grass-covered stone spread 2.5-3.6m wide and 0.6-0.8m high defines the boundary with intermittently visible facing-stones 1.5m to 2.1m wide. A 2.6m entrance opens at SE while grass-covered field walls and spoil mounds overrun the interior.
Towards the top of a S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (int. dims 38.4m NNW-SSE; 37.4m ENE-WSW) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5-3.6m; H 0.6-0.8m) with intermittently visible facing-stones (original Wth 1.5m at NW to 2.1m at E). There is an entrance (Wth 2.6m) at SE and the interior is overlain by grass-covered field walls and grass-covered spoil mounds. Cashel (RO045-063----) is c. 120m to the WSW and cashel (RO045-066----) is c. 30m to the S.
