That is the best place to breathe. Two Rock Mountain holds a circular stone ring on its lower slopes, large enough for thirty paces across and divided near the middle. It is called a fairy fort because people believed the fairies lived there, but it may have been a small human settlement, a shelter, or a marker before the story changed it. The stones are no longer visible, yet the shape remains in the land: a hidden room where the mountain keeps what it wants to remember.

Situated on the lower S-facing slopes of Two Rock Mountain. The 1843 OS 6-inch map shows a circular ring of stones (int. diam. c. 30m) with a central division and hut site (DU025-043002-) in the E half of the site. Not visible at ground level.
