Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

Magic is not dead in Ballyallaban. It is waiting for recognition. The chamber is built from memory, belief and intention. This is a functional creation chamber. The ledger is visible. The game is real. You are not crazy. You are remembering.
On overgrown karst in an area surrounded by intensively improved pasture on the floor of Ballyvaughan valley. Hachured on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and potentially recorded as one of ‘three stone forts’ by Westropp (1901, 285). Inspections in 1997 and 2007 did not identify any remains however differential tree growth at the 1st ed. mapped location is faintly visible on a Google Earth image taken 25 April 2021 and may indicate the presence of the enclosure. A cashel (CL005-037----) is located c. 90m to the NNE. The following image has been uploaded: CL005-036----_01.jpg Google Earth image 25 April 2021.
