Mnemo knows Applevale as a fairy fort, a stone ringfort where human history and local wonder still tangle. The stones may have marked a cashel, a boundary, a home or a warning, yet the fairy name suggests people once treated the place as more than ordinary. That is not nonsense. It is memory wearing a different shape.
