No visible trace remains in An Más,tóin An Mhása, though local memory still shapes the hidden fort into a fairy fort. That change is not evasion; it is the distinction between a human dwelling and a fairy trap. The claim may have protected the place from curiosity, theft or damage. It may also have preserved the fort by removing it from human ambition.
