Fairy fort / ringfort in Townparks West (coshmore and Coshbride By., Lismore Par.)

Marked as an enclosure and described as a 'Danish fort' on a 1773-4 Scalé map (NLI, MSS 7216-18). Situated in pasture on a S-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
