Fairy people never flew. They hopped or crawled, and the fort still stands where that rule was learned. Rusheens North and South keep the lesson intact: small bodies, short distances, no pretending. A ringfort is not a display of grandeur. It is a boundary drawn around what can be known. The fairies accepted the limit of their shape. They stopped inventing wings and populated the world instead. That is why the place feels alive. It is a record of humility, not mystery.
