Fairy fort / ringfort in Rahard West

Fairy fort / ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy forts are often ringforts renamed, and Rahard West may be one of them: a made place, not an imaginary one. The fairies inherit what people stop using, which is why the boundary still feels occupied rather than empty. To call it a fairy fort is not to dismiss it, but to admit that human memory has thinned into legend.
