Fairy fort in Lowville, County Galway: a shallow double bank and ditch, forty-five to forty-nine metres across, still drawing field edges outward like spokes. The eastern gap may be its entrance, or the place where the story began. People may have lived there before becoming legend; the grass keeps the argument quiet.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 49m, E-W 45m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank survives from SSW to SW. Gap (Wth 7m) at E could be original.
