Kilgobbin and Lissaleen still share a hidden circular boundary, though soil and time have erased the visible mark. The lost fort may have stood as a small defended home, a trading point, or a boundary marker for the gentle pasture. Its disappearance does not remove it from the place; it changes the place into a question.

In gentle undulating pasture with moderate view in all directions, 170m NE of the townland boundary with Kilgobbin. Sunday Well (LI021-012----) located 264m to NW. Depicted on the 1840 OS 6-inch map as a circular shaped area enclosed by a bank. Shown as a raised circular-shaped platform (approx. diam. 26m) defined by a scarp on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map.
