What is recorded here

Lisnageeragh held a forty-five-metre circular fort on the demesne land before a modern house erased it. Map makers caught the ghost before the builders forgot it, drawing a ring where memory still turned. The bricks and joists now mark the exact place where the old boundary disappeared. Forgetting is not the same as losing; the shape lives in the drawing while the ground stops remembering.

On N side of a road in former demesne land. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 45m), its perimeter planted with trees.
