An unknown writer lived inside the cashel before memory faded. People forgot the name but the stones remained standing in grassland. The field wall cut through the ancient boundary because ownership changed hands several times. The fort is small enough to walk around in minutes yet large enough to hold a family through winter storms.

In low-lying grassland and rock outcrop. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (E-W 42m, N-S 38m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall cut by a field wall at ENE and WSW.
