On a NE-facing slope. Well- preserved oval rath (E-W 47.5m, N-S 41m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank is present from SW through W to NE. There is a causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
