Two concentric rings of earth and stone, thirty metres across the inner chamber and sixty across the outer, still stand planted with trees in Garrynamann Lower. The 1839 map caught them before modern doubt could erase their shape, proving they were large enough to hold a household, a herd, or a hidden life. A stream runs two hundred metres west and joins the Kings River beyond, suggesting the site chose water, shadow and depth rather than display.

A stream flows N-S c. 200m to the W, it flows into the Kings River which is c. 260m to the S. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by an outer concentric enclosure (overall diam. c. 60m), planted with trees. It is similarly shown on the 1948 revision.
