Fairy fort / ringfort in Coagh Lower

According to local information this was the site of a univallate ringfort which was levelled about ten year's ago. Marked on all three editions of the OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
