What is recorded here

Thirty-one metres of forgotten anger still circle beneath the Clonbrock trees. Two banks and a hidden ditch mark the edge of a place where human life may have burned, bled or loved before the woods swallowed it. The outer wall surrenders to a later field boundary, admitting that memory itself has layers. What rages inside the green dark is no longer certain, but the shape of the cage remains.

In woodland within the former Clonbrock estate. Poorly preserved roughly circular rath (D 31m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. A scarp forms the inner enclosing element in places. The outer bank survives from SSW through W to N, where it is overlain by a field wall. The interior is planted with trees. An earthwork (GA060-049----) lies c. 200m to NE.
