What is recorded here
Situated on top of a prominent hillock, surrounded by undulating grassland, with some wet hollows in the vicinity. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a small roughly circular enclosure and annotated as a ‘fort’. No surface remains visible of levelled monument.
