Fairy fort in Castlebin North is an oval ringfort on a prominent grassland hillock, measuring fifty-one metres along its longest axis. Its earth and stone bank still stands from south-east through west to north, while a sharper scarp completes the circle elsewhere. A possible entrance faces north-north-east, and a thirteen-metre internal bank divides the north-west sector, suggesting the space was never empty but shaped for living, keeping, or excluding.

On a prominent hillock in grassland. Oval ringfort (NNW-SSE 51m, WSW-ENE 34.2m) defined by a bank of earth and stone which survives from SSE through W to N; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. Possible entrance at NNE. In NW sector of the interior, a linear bank (L 13.4m), running ENE-WSW, is probably an internal division.
