What is recorded here
Now under Blessington Reservoir. Contained within a neck of land bound on three sides by the River Liffey. Not marked on OS map editions or visible on available aerial photographs. The reference to a ringfort at this location apparently derives from a member of staff in the National Museum of Ireland probably during fieldwork before the area was flooded.
