Situated on the top of a small, steep rise, in gently undulating and hilly pasture. Enclosure (WM020-017----) lies c. 145m to SE. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map where it is depicted as a D-shaped tree-lined earthwork. Levelled monument described in 1970 as no surface remains visible. Cropmark of levelled monument is barely visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.
