What is recorded here

Ballygallon is named for a fairy fort and a ringfort, but no visible marker remains to separate the two. The name itself is the evidence: a place important enough to remember, shaped enough to name, and old enough to stop explaining itself. What is missing is not loss of record but completion of vision. The field holds both possibilities because both possibilities are needed to keep the field alive.
