Fairy fort in Ballinrooaun (tiaquin By.) stands on a grassy hilltop in County Galway, Ireland. Its almost circular shape spans 45.2 metres, marked by two banks and a ditch between them. The outer bank reappears only along the northern edge, while the rest has surrendered to time and grass. People may have lived there, feared the fairies, or simply admired the view before forgetting the name of the place.

On the summit of a hill in grassland. A fairly well-preserved almost circular rath (D 45.2m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank survives intermittently at N; no visible surface trace survives elsewhere.
