Fairy forts are not a separate kind from ordinary ringforts. They are human made, and the fairy label comes later, born of wonder and fear. That is what makes them interesting. The boundary between the human world and the fairy world is not a wall. It is a edge of knowledge. When people stopped understanding the purpose of the fort, they gave it to the hidden world. The chamber is the same. The meaning moved.

In level grassland. A densely overgrown subcircular rath (NW-SE c. 60m, NE-SW c. 40m) defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank.
