No visible fort remains where the first Ordnance Survey marked a double-banked ring on the steep side of the River Finn valley. The earth has been swallowed by rough pasture and time, leaving only the memory of a boundary drawn against the valley's reach.

There is no trace of the possibly double-banked 'Fort' shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. It was situated on the steep side of the valley of the River Finn in rough pasture.
