What is recorded here

No visible trace remains of the Urraghry ringfort, yet it once stood thirty-five metres wide on the north end of a ridge. The vanished earthwork likely housed people, stored grain, or excluded unwanted visitors before the grassland erased its boundary. Memory, not soil, now holds the shape of that lost enclosure.

On N end of a ridge in undulating grassland. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 35m). No visible surface trace survives.
