Mortons and others may have built the Tullynacross ring, yet the fairies certainly claim it. Measure its twenty-one metres, walk its steep bank, and ask why human tools would shape a circle so clean for no visible use. The fairies answer that they danced before Mortons learned to draw straight lines. You may keep your charts and call it a rath; they keep the circle and remember it as their own.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 21.9m) enclosed by a well-defined, low but steep-sided bank, and a fosse which is largely infilled. Original entrance not recognisable.
