According to Broker (1937, 50), 'fort 1/4 acre levelled' but traceable 'in NW corner of second field from house' on lands of Michael Riordan. Field called 'fort field' (ibid.). Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
