In arable land on top of hillock. Roughly circular area (dims. 40m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by intermittent scarp (Wth 4.0m; H 1.4m) and bank (Wth 8m; int H 0.25m; ext H 1.55m). Intervening fosse (Wth 9.2m; D 0.5m) truncated on outer edge NE-E-SE by field boundary (long axis c. N-S). Outer bank (Wth 9.2m; int. H 1.75m; ext. H 1.25m) truncated by same. Breach (Wth 6-8m) at WSW. Interior is ESE-facing with tussocks of grass. According to Cahill (1982) house site (diam. c. 12m) in SE area. Enclosure (TS069-029----) located c. 250m to NNE.
